The Funny Way I Got Hooked on Sudoku
Sometimes you don’t choose a hobby—it kind of chooses you. That’s exactly how Sudoku entered my life.
I didn’t start playing it because I wanted to train my brain or become better at puzzles. I actually discovered it in a pretty random moment when I was just trying to kill time.
Looking back now, it’s funny how a simple grid of numbers slowly became one of my favorite ways to relax.
It All Started With Boredom
The first time I tried Sudoku was during a long wait at the airport.
My flight was delayed, my phone battery was still pretty full, and I had already done the usual routine: checked messages, browsed social media, watched a couple of short videos.
Eventually, I ran out of interesting things to scroll.
So I opened a puzzle app I had downloaded weeks earlier but never used.
There it was—a simple grid with a few numbers already filled in.
I tapped on it without thinking much about it.
